ABOUT PLOTWORK

Plotwork is a cinematic advisory for luxury real estate. We merge cinematic thinking with development strategy to rigorously shape projects from inception to opening—crafting narratives, advising development strategy, and shaping guest experience for luxury hospitality.

Our approach draws on the principles of cinema: point of view, world-building, and emotion. We believe that a strong story is not decoration applied at the end of a project. It is a strategic tool, engaged early, that guides decisions across development, design, brand, and operations.

Our growing portfolio includes boutique and ultra-luxury hotels, new hospitality brands, mixed-use developments, and major destination projects in the United States, the Middle East, and Asia. We work at both the project level and as a strategic advisor across wider portfolios.

THE ROLE

Plotwork is looking for a highly visual, detail-oriented Creative Strategist to work directly with leadership across a growing docket of luxury hospitality projects.

The immediate priority is presentation production. You will help transform strategic thinking, research, and written content into clear, persuasive, and beautifully composed client presentations. You should be comfortable working from a strong creative direction, interpreting complex ideas, sourcing thoughtful visual references, and carrying a document from rough working pages through final delivery.

This is an ideal role for someone who is aesthetically driven and wants greater exposure to the strategic thinking behind the work. You do not need to arrive as a fully formed hospitality strategist. You do need strong visual judgment, intellectual curiosity, excellent organization, and an interest in how places, brands, and experiences are conceived.

As Plotwork grows, there will be opportunities to contribute more actively to research, concept development, writing, and selected client workstreams.

This role might appeal to you if …

You are a visual storyteller or graphic designer who knows how to make ideas persuasive on the page. You have an excellent eye, strong personal taste, and a particular talent for transforming complex information into presentations that feel clear, considered, and inevitable.

You are curious about hospitality and its ever-shifting future. You are comfortable collapsing high and low, looking beyond conventional hospitality references, and drawing connections across interiors, architecture, film, fashion, art, food, and culture.

You enjoy working closely with senior teams, respond well to direct feedback, and understand the rigor required to deliver exceptional client work.

Plotwork is an independent, female-founded advisory entering an important stage of growth. As we expand the team, we are looking for thoughtful, highly capable collaborators who can strengthen the work now and grow in responsibility alongside the company.

  • Demonstrated ability to structure a story visually with clean, on-brand slides. This may be through a select portfolio of creative strategy work or other (decks, briefs, frameworks, narratives) showing strong taste and polish.

  • Comfort level with client-facing creative work specifically in the hospitality space, including understanding of brand voice, tone, and positioning at the luxury level.

SKILLS & TOOLS
